How Do I Make More Horsepower on My 2010 Camaro

Posted: November 1, 2009 in Uncategorized

When your on the search for more horsepower out of your 2010 Camaro SS, there are many options currently available. Superchargers, Turbos, are just a few of the options to make significant gains in power. You will see gains of over 150 horsepower, but at a pretty expensive cost.

Cold Air Intakes:

If your just starting out and don’t have a lot to spend, a great power adder is a cold air intake for your 2010 Camaro. Good horsepower and torque gains are shown and best of all they don’t hurt drivability and reliability. A cold air intake won’t hurt your warranty as well. G5CR (Generation 5 Camaro Racing) makes their stage 2 cold air intakes in a variety of cool color, red, black, inferno orange, yellow and now chrome! Late Model Racecraft offers their cold air intakes in a carbon fiber or black finish and include a heatshield with their kits. Finally the Pipeline Cold Air intake by Fastlane Incorporated, offers a cold air intake that uses a massive 4 inch intake tube that stretches all the way down by the lower valance grille. It also made the most power in a dyno test.

Finally, no matter which cold air intake is right for you and your camaro, it will be a great first modification, resulting in more horsepower, torque, sound, and better fuel mileage. Did I also mention that they look cool too!
